Derived from recycled material, Rains’ signature featherless insulation ETHERMALOFT® is water-resistant and boasts a high-loft volume. Meeting demanding human-ecological requirements, it has earned OEKO-TEX® certification and conforms with GLOBAL RECYCLED STANDARD 4.0 (GRS 4.0).

Fabric technicalities.
Engineered for optimal performance in wet weather, Rains’ signature fabric is special in two ways; it’s breathable and waterproof. These combined properties result in a unique reaction to water designed through the lens of performance. When wet, the PU-coated fabric rises to lock out any rain, closing the microscopic perforations. When drying, it returns to its original smooth finish.
